Generational Beekeeping
My name is Cate, and I am one of the many women who have cultivated this skincare line. My grandmother was a beekeeper. Growing up, I was transfixed by this gentle art form, that offered her stability, order and peace.
Years later, she passed down her equipment to me, and I began my own beekeeping journey. Just like my grandmother, I was enamored by bee anatomy and life, as well as the healing properties found in honey, pollen, propolis, beeswax, and royal jelly.
As I worked with bees, I began to experience deep physical, spiritual and emotional healing that I was inspired to share with other women. Driven by a desire to see other women reconnect with the earth and their bodies, I began to develop a honeybee based skincare line, rooted in the healing of the hive. From there, POLLI was born.
Building For Restoration
At POLLI, we desire to connect women to their inherent value through the intersection of learning about holistic health and the natural world.To do this, we will use five percent of each POLLI skincare purchase to provide sustainable beekeeping, women’s health, and free business education to women.
In the future, POLLI hopes to build a multi-acre community center to foster a haven for women and girls to come receive rest and empowering learning in and outdoors. Our dream is to make a space the offers slow, potent healing, and see women's lives changed forever.
